As you grow up, there will be several instances when you have to leave your comfort zone, venture out for new locations and environments and get yourself adjusted there. it's a part of life. You Dad was right to take a decision at a crucial time to onboard you with a better platform - I am sure now you appreciate that more.

I exactly know what you have felt at that time while leaving your old school, those friends, as I also have gone through that phase rather a bit more younger age than you, at Class 2, suddenly my parents decided to shift my school to Kolkata from Chandannagar. But I always thank my parents for those decisions. I also know that you also thank Chordabhai for the decision he took at your crucial time of studies. All my best wishes are with you dear. It's always good to talk about your feelings. This blog did that perfectly.
Music is truly the cure for all types of moods.
It is difficult to change schools. New friends, unfamiliar environment etc... But in hindsight it was probably a decision for the better notwithstanding the fact that it caused sadness when it was taken.
